Operators of marine craft around the world, from pleasure boat owners to the U.S. Navy, use WedgCor steel buildings for maintenance facilities, covered dry docks, showrooms and storage buildings. The variety of needs associated with the marine profession are as individual as the many designs we offer.
Some commercial operations require special considerations, such as the Adams-Durvin Marina Sales and service center in Virginia. This building has a 32-foot tall open bay in the center of the building (see the marina gallery) allowing clearance and easy access and egress for yachts and large sailboats. Passage into the showrooms, storage areas, parts department, and service center has been made easy, while the open bay service center provides shade and shelter for boats and service personnel. The two structures are 50 feet wide by 150 feet long, and ae used to display a variety of boat craft and accessories.

The Las Vegas Marina is an example of a pleasure boat showroom. The combination of glass, old pier ties, rope, exposed steel frames, and translucent light panels, all lend to the aesthetic display of many fine boats.
